MERU was born from the idea that every endeavor with heart has a purpose. The key is uncovering that purpose and connecting it with those who need it.
This is where I come in.
Over the last decade my experiences in working with communities, health and wellness, and consumer products industries has taught me that being grounded and genuinely understanding the people you’re looking to serve will inform innovation, and new solutions rooted in people’s actual needs.
With a background in journalism and marketing, I took my experiences and applied them to helping my local community. First as a political advisor to Marianne Williamson in her 33rd district congressional run, to campaign director at a national non-profit launching innovative programs and initiatives that addressed the decline of local economies. Now I’ve extended my experiences and applied them to helping yoga studios and other community non-profits build and extend their reach.
So how exactly can I help?
I’m a newsletter maven, with a penchant for all things social media. If you don’t know where to begin, or find the upkeep of social media platforms and email blasts a chore, then you’ve landed in a good place…I can do all of that before breakfast.
I am an organizational whiz and can create spreadsheets to create a more fluid work flow, as well as provide comprehensive website management. I am a lot of things, but shy isn’t one of them and one my favorite things to do is connect people and create strategic partnerships and allies.
From the things you need to help maintain day-to-day operations, to instilling practices for a more sustained operation, I’m here to help.
The name MERU was inspired by the mythological golden mountain that stands in the center of the universe and is the axis of the world.
